Francisco Villanueva Cresencio

Francisco Villanueva Cresencio, Kiko or Francis to many, is the Executive Vice President (EVP) of JCI Makati for the year 2020-2021. He joined JCI in 2013 through the invitation of Past President Neil Zernan Q. Florita and was inducted in 2014 during the 50th anniversary celebration of the chapter. Since then, Kiko has held various positions as a member of JCI Makati Board of Directors. Among the positions he held since 2015 were Board Treasurer, Director for Special Projects, Director for International Affairs and Director for Sports Development.

One of his most unforgettable experiences in JCI was in 2016 during the School Bag Project in Mount Terranus in Dinalupihan, Bataan. He, together with other volunteers from JCI Makati, had to hike for 4 hours in order to bring bags and other donations to a remote community of Aetas (indigenous people of Central Luzon esp. from the province of Zambales, Bataan and Tarlac). He considered the experience meaningful and an eyeopener, seeing how other people manage to live and be happy despite the absence of basic necessities. It gave him a fresh perspective and inspired him to do more for others whenever possible.

True to its promise, JCI has made a significant impact during the past 7 years of his being a member and a director. He learned from fellow JCI members and mentors about how to grow and manage his business, learned different strategies and gained lifelong friends and advisors along the way. As the EVP for 2020-2021, part of his agenda is to rally the members, old and new, to the common objective of “Rising As One” and helping more communities in need. He believes that now more than ever, in the midst of this pandemic, JCI Makati has the opportunity to create a true and lasting impact on the broader community.

Kiko is also the President and General Manager of a company specializing in trade of industrial and occupational safety supplies. He has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the oil and power industry, medical equipment and personal protective equipment. He obtained his post graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Centro Escolar University. He hails from the province of Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region. He is a family man who loves to travel and cook for his family. He is into cars, liquors and beers, tennis, basketball, and golf.
